advanced optoelectronic applications
Objective/Description

To synthesize functional photoconducting material based on hierarchical nanostructures of undoped and doped CdS, CdSe with different morphologies in order to obtain high photoconductivity along with desired band gap. The various kinds of dopants which will be explored are Cu and Mn. Especially; the main focus would be to tune the band-gap so as to exploit the visible region of the spectrum.

To synthesize photosensitive organic binder compatible with the functional material and formulate photoconducting photopatternable paste composition to facilitate better dispersion, rheology and adhesion

To fabricate microphotoconducitng cells of sensing element line of 100 micron in order to achive fast respose (1 ms to 25 ms ) using the above paste formulation.
